Reflections

What an awesome birthday! Yesterday was lots of fun, we had a great time with our friends. We slept until the afternoon, grabbed a shower and had some brunch.

I already got one present from my mom (a very nice top) and I will get a bunk-bed next week when it gets delivered, so K doesn’t have to sleep on the ground anymore! Sunday I will celebrate for my family, so an update on the presents-list later.

My good friend Elle stopped by today, so she could give me her present and I could give her mine (it was her birthday December 21st!). She got me a flickr pro account, yay! The first thing I uploaded after that was my first photo for my 365 project, as you can see above. Yummeh, I know.

ALSO, K’s first present really rocked. He had suggested one of my works on deviantart.com for a Daily Deviation, and it got awarded yesterday! I saw it today, and I just couldn’t believe it! I had so many messages in my inbox… Thank you darling, that was an awesome surprise. I love you!

So K will be here any minute, I’m planning on watching (500) Days Of Summer, because Elle claims it is exquisitely awesome. Most of the time she’s absolutely right about films, so I know what I have to watch tonight!

Now where is that big pile of presents…

Soon I’ll get film for my new holga camera. Hopefully for my birthday. I just can’t wait to try it out! I’ll probably be out of film in no time. I’m going to experiment on double exposure shots, too (like the one below in the middle). It’s exciting to not see the result right away for once. I’ll have to wait for my film to be developed and printed, and then every roll of film is a surprise…
